A Beautiful wedding day at Merrydale Manor with music from Mark The Piano Guy
It’s always great to return to this prestigious Cheshire wedding venue.
Mr and Mrs Ball had seen me at a wedding in Elsmere port, a couple of years ago and booked me for theirs, so they knew what they were in for. ?
As I arrived, the guests were enjoying the grounds and some authentic Scottish piper, music, plus drinks from the @bar_toast the mobile piaggio bar.
I set up in the ceremony , chapel ready to play the pride in on the in-house, acoustic grand piano. The bride and groom chose “I get to love you” by Ruelle for the bridesmaids entrance, and “Suddenly” by Angry Anderson for the bridal entrance. (Massive Gavin & Stacey fans). The Wedding ceremony was conducted by our friends at Your Ceremony
Then I moved to my own piano for the drinks, reception and later at the wedding breakfast, where the guests were ready to party, even as the starters were coming out. I had lots of requests for Scottish music, so I played some Deacon Blue, Del Amitri and Proclaimers, and because these people had seen me before they knew about my set of 90s bangers, so we had some “freed from desire” and “gypsy woman”. Of course the napkins are in the air as they always are with the piano guy wedding breakfast.
I had the opportunity to meet some of the great suppliers, including RW Wedding photography , White events, Bar Toast, and the evening band, Tequila.
Judging by the guests interaction during the wedding breakfast, I bet the evening was awesome. Thank you very much to Mr Mrs Ball for making me part of the special day , I wish you a lifetime of happiness together, (and I hope your little fella feels better soon)
