A beautiful day for a beautiful couple – The New Mr and Mrs Broadhurst who were married at Nunsmere Hall Hotel

After getting married in their local church in Bolton, (my home town also) they headed down to Cheshire to a drinks reception in the venues amazing grounds. With the sun blazing they had their day immortalised by Amy Hodson Photography – lovely to meet you by the way – while I entertained for the drinks reception, taking requests and generally keeping guests happy and engaged in the day!

We moved to the marquee which had been beautifully dressed with flowers from Ruby Doodles Florist. After some very amusing speeches (and a genuine message from Justin Bieber – honest) they enjoyed a delicious meal with fantastic service from the staff.

I was whipping up a party with everything from sing-alongs to 90’s house bangers- in fact the DJ (semi-jokingly) came up to me and said, “argh you played all my tunes” – but it got even more fun when I was joined by Al Grant Sax for a jam. We had to play a few obvious sax tunes like Baker Street (one of my lifelong favourites). People asked us how long were had played together – two minutes is the answer . But this is the thing about pro musicians. Al certainly was a pro – and after the wedding breakfast he entertained out in the grounds while guests enjoyed the beautiful weather and prepared for a night of partying!
Then we had a genuine abba tribute – honest . And a fantastic sing along to finish my set before we all got a fab Lolly to cool off
During the evening they had a disco from their friends and also our friends at Booth Tube were set up for the evening.
A fantastic day with another awesome video to follow
Wishing Elliot and Mary a lifetime of happiness
