What a wonderful wedding in the sunshine at Eaves Hall yesterday. It was brilliant fun to work with my wife Liz Hendry Wedding Pianist providing our “Unforgettable Wedding Package” for this amazing couple.
We set up for the wedding ceremony outside on the “Bowling Green” and the weather was glorious. I am not sure how they ordered such amazing wedding for their day but I need the name of their weather guy lol
Liz played her lovely romantic instrumental music as the guests were seated and then played the bride down the aisle. But for the end of the ceremony they wanted something a little more energetic – well that’s my thing! I got on the piano and played “You make my dreams come true” by Hall and Oates – areal 80’s classic!

Jane and Jason were there from Flower Design with a stunning range of summer floral arrangements and The Bridal Artists Company was there all day working on hair and make-up and the first picture here of the lovely bride and groom was taken by Nick English Photography.

After the beautiful ceremony I stayed at the piano during the drinks reception out in the glorious sunshine singing classic tunes and taking requests.
This was our “combi” package or to use its official name, “The unforgettable wedding” package. With this the bride and groom get a mixture of the best of Liz and I, used at the most suitable points of the day providing a near constant music provision all day. As such, while I was playing the drinks reception Liz was getting ready in place ready to receive the guests in to the wedding breakfast. Liz played as the guests were seated but again they wanted to come dancing in to the room to a classic tune – so I hopped on to play one of their faves – “Dancing on the Ceiling” by Lionel Richie or coronation fame lol

Liz the played through the starters and mains providing the beautiful ambience that she is well known for……..but they wanted me to do what I’m well known for too……..a fun wedding breakfast ending.
So after a short and by the way very cool show by the magician Paul Fowler, I launched into my sing song, napkin waving crazy set with everybody in the room joining in.

Finally we finished the day back out on the (slightly cooler) bowling green with more top tunes and request from me while the guests enjoyed a drink in anticipation of an awesome evening party

Thanks again to Eaves hall for looking after us with delicious food and a lovely venue to do our thing!
Thanks to Elly and Chris for letting us be part of a wonderful day
