The lovely Toni & Jamie – married at Mitton Hall one rainy day!
What a lovely wedding this was – nobody let the rain spoil it. I had been dealing with the bride leading up to the wedding day but not was awesome to meet the groom. He was extremely cool and very excited to marry his beautiful Toni. In his speech he told of how the had hiked up to the top of Pendle hill for him to propose.
The wedding first for me was when the groom announced in his speech that the bride’s family had a tradition. It was that if ever they heard the song Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol that they must all lie on the floor and sing along. To show that he was ready to be inducted in to the family he took the mic and began to sing. Dutifully all the family took to the floor, dresses and all. It was at the same time a touching and amusing moment – suffice to say he passed the test.

Why did you book The Piano Guy?
My husband saw mark at Nino’s Cliviger one Saturday evening and came back telling me all about how he loved every song he played and got everybody feeling happy and enjoying themselves. We knew we wanted our day to be a celebration and for everyone to enjoy it and know music is the key to a good time! Mark opened the door to a fantastic time for all.
What effect did he have on your wedding day?
We have always found wedding breakfasts to be quite formal and we wanted everybody to feel relaxed all the way through the day. Mark’s music had us all singing and dancing throughout the meal and made it a day to never forget. More than one guest commented on how he knew how every song requested and how fantastic he was.
How professional was he?
The communication was excellent as soon as I contacted The live piano experience. Professional and friendly throughout the journey.
