What a fantastic day yesterday at The Castlefield Rooms at the wedding of Jade and Tom.
It was my first time there and I was instantly impressed with how welcoming and efficient Zoe and all her team were towards us wedding suppliers……. Everyone knows how much I like my coffee 
I arrived to see the ceremony room beautifully decorated by Fiore Dorato in the colours the bride had specified.
After setting up I had time to catch up with the groom and his guys plus meet the other fantastic wedding professionals Great Day Films • Wedding Videographers and Olivia Whittaker Photography.
I provided romantic instrumental music for the bridal entrance including the timeless “Canon in D” and the classic “Can’t help falling in love” by Elvis. Check out my recent blog about the best most popular wedding songs if you are planning a wedding ceremony – I know how these thongs work you see!
The ceremony was lovely and I told the bride after that her “I Do” was one of the most emphatic I had ever heard 
As the guests went for drinks they couple had provided me with food down in Dukes 92. The cod and chips was delicious.
Do you know how much self control this took – especially as they were actual Krispy Kremes and the had LOTUS BISCOFF
During the wedding breakfast I played my usual low key classic tunes until it got to dessert time when we fired it up – fuchsia pink napkins in the air (footage to follow). Then the meal spilled on to the dance floor for some 90s bangers. Pianoguy Style.
As I was playing Matthew Stephens – Wedding Singer, Wedding Guitarist and DJ started jamming with me – totally off the cuff with some queen and ok – I admit – some S club 7 .

On the day he played instrumental piano so beautifully throughout our ceremony (on his fab white piano!!) and then played and sang throughout our breakfast. He was AMAZING, really set the atmosphere and had everyone up out of their seats waving napkins and taking requests! Would totally recommend him for any event!
