Darren and Aimee – music for a beautiful wedding at Liverpool Town Hall
NYE was crazy!! The day started with the beautiful wedding of Mr & Mrs Tunstall at Liverpool Town Hall. What an amazing venue!
It was one of the more unique wedding ceremonies I have done. Not least because of the different set up with the guests sitting around the room rather than in lines, but also because of the music they chose.
The Bridal entrance was some good old faithful Elvis and “Can’t help filling in love” but it was during the signing of the schedule that it got really interesting. The Bride requested some 80’s & 90’s bangers! Cece Peniston – “Finally” – Chaka Khan- “ain’t nobody”.
The other very cool song choice was for the Bride and Groom entering the wedding breakfast……..”No diggity” by Black street – a personal favourite of mine.

The guests were singing, dancing and partying between enjoying courses of delicious food from Carringtons Catering Ltd.
While I was entertaining the drinks reception they did an awesome photo shoot which they had practised – it looked very “downtown abbey” and it was captured by the professional photographer in the scene Livi Edwards photography.
After the meal I moved in to the Pavilion where the guests joined me for some sing-along tunes and requests. We had Mysterious Girl (Peter Andre), Somebody to love (Queen), I would do anything for love (Meatloaf) as well as some Erasure, 90s house and much more.
After finishing this lovely wedding at Liverpool Town Hall we zoomed off to our New Year’s Eve gig (yes I said we, cos i has my trusty helper/roadie/navigator with me Liz Hendry Wedding Pianist). We then had a top night night and a great new year at The Plough in Wigglesworth.
